Zombicide: Black Plague - first batch of zombies

There are 9 different zombie-sculpts in the basic Zombicide: Black Plague box and 7 each of those. They are all decent sculpts, my only complaint is the faces of the non-fatties that are all rather… meh…
Fatties from Zombicide: Black Plague
Here’s the first batch painted, just six more to go…
They are rather easy to paint, just a block paint the respective clothing item and touch up with very limited detailing.
Fatties from behind
I painted the flesh with different mixes of Army Painter Necrotic Flesh and Vallejo 955 Flat Flesh. I plan to add other undead skin-tones in the future to get varied results – Citadel Rotting Flesh, Vallejo Game Color 35 Dead Flesh and Formula P3 Thrall Flesh.
Runners
Wounds and mouths got a mix of Vallejo 926 Red, 944 Old Rose and 835 Salmon Rose.
Everything washed with Army Painter Strong Tone ink and finally a matte varnish to protect them.
Ordinary walkers, ex-female.
They are based on clear bases from Sally 4th instead of the integral ones from the game. I intend to use them for other games, making the clear bases perfect.

'male' walkers
Welcome Berfrund with a blog with the same name. Lots of historicals in 6 and 15mm but also a smattering of 28mm. Check it out.

  1. Very nice! I won't call them pretty, but yes... they sort of are.
