Brimstone –Harvesters

Here’s a new set of enemies for Shadows of Brimstone – Harvesters.
They are creatures that have built heavy suits to protect them from hostile environments and hostile locals in those environments, making them immune to environment effect and some attacks also.
They have a mission, and that is to harvest Dark Stone, the crystals that power the ‘magical’ properties of the setting and also corrupts both people and creatures, causing mutations. They are rather good at it, and might nick your Dark Stone in a fight.
Anyway, they will be fun to see on the gaming table.

Dinosaurs

Infant Tyrannosaurs and crocodile ancestors from Tamiya’s 1/35 Mesozoic Creatures set.
If these are infants, I don't want to meet mom or pop.
Got myself two boxes of this excellent kit, initially to get the Tyrannosaurs that I wanted to use as extra Jargono Swamp Raptors in Shadows of Brimstone.
The crocs can be used as modern-day crocs and the rest of the dinosaurs will probably work well in Paleo Diet: Eat or be Eaten, a rather fun set of rules where my (to be painted) stone-age brutes will meet prey… or be preyed upon.
You can see what I did with the Archaeopteryx here.

Last minis from July – nun, ghoul and Atalanta

The last post of July will be on a couple of different minis finished in the last couple of days.
The nun, from Warlord Games and their Operation Sea Lion – Enemy Agents blister, looks stern but innocent enough… from the front.
But if you look at what she’s doing behind her back… She’ll be perfect in my Vatican-league in Pulp Alley, and will have the “Burst Fire” ability. Yes, I do have a thing for armed nuns…
The ghoul’s from Andy at Heresy Miniatures, and it is a great little mini, as always from Heresy. Gruesome.
Finally the first painted mini from Mythic Battles: Pantheon. Atalanta is one of five heroes in the base box, and a good enough figure. I wasn’t super excited by the mini so she stood half-finished on the painting table quite a long time.
