It
has been quiet on the blogging front for more than a month now. I’ve been out
in the Stockholm archipelago two and a half weeks, and have been enjoying a
wonderful summer. The weather has been, and still is, wonderful. Around 300C
and water temperatures above 20. For about a month now.
A
couple of pics from my vacation:
Daughter
dressed as a Viking at the History Museum in Stockholm
Here’s
the bread she baked
A
real size Viking ship
…and
a miniature one
Model
of a Viking village, and here the batteries ran out. Darn!
A dragon! Mariatorget, Södermalm.
Stockholm from the heights of Södermalm. A very nice walk.
Sunset
from our summer place (actually the neighbours’, but the same island)
A
trip to the outer archipelago
Anyway,
back on track now, with some miniatures seeing my brushes. More on that shortly.
Glad you had a good holiday, makes you more in the mood to paint

I'm in a painting mode alright! Finished a couple of figures yesterday.
DeleteLooks like a lovely holiday, nice to be able to mix in a bit of history with some family time and relaxation. Cold, wet and wintery down here! Cheers, Paul :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely, and not finished yet.
