Dr. Johan and Doom Ray from RAFM

These come from RAFM and were add-ons in one of their kickstarters. They’ve been half-finished for a long time, but I need them for a Pulp Alley adventure and here they are, painted and ready.

The doom ray is a bit clunky but turned our rather well. It will open a gate to a dimension beyond space and time, but more on that in a Pulp Alley AAR.

    1. It will suit our 1930s' pulp gaming just fine :-)

    1. It is a nice kit, well worth an investment if you need something like this.

  3. Nice figures and good paintjob Joakim.I also like the characters a lot. They looks like taken directly from a inspirational sci-fi-movie from the 1960-ies.

  4. Wow, just awesome! I absolutely must get that ray gun! It's almost exactly like the Para Power Ray Gun Dr. Quest built in the classic Jonny Quest episode 'The Robot Spy'!

It's amazing what a black wash can do.

  6. Hmm I think I should be worried. I suspekt that our Pulp Alley characters will be in deep troubble in the comming game sessions.

    1. Something like that, yes.
I'm trying to write an adventure (suitably beyond space and time) full ugly critters, ray guns and portals.
If you see my characters running like hell away from the gaming board, you should suspect it could be a good idea to follow them :-)

  7. It could be Dr. Johhan and his Doom Ray
    Or
It could be electro-pop artist Moby and his new synthesizer.
Excellent minis. I am sure that opening a portal into a dangerous other dimension is a good idea - what could go wrong?

    1. As long as you don't piss Moby off, the music is rather nice. But if he becomes annoyed about you musical appreciation it might turn ugly fast.
Remember, if he turns the "synthesizer" towards you it is about time to start clapping and cheering furiously.
