A
lovely model that has spent too long a time in the tin mountain.
Nienna,
number 2909 in the Dark Heaven Legends series, is sculpted by Werner Klocke. It
is marketed as an elf, but works just as well as a human in my opinion. I
pinned the separate sword-arm to get a strong bond.
Paints used (Vallejo unless otherwise noted):
Cloak
- 886 Green Grey
Skin
– 955 Flat Flesh
Shirt
Body – 881 Yellow Green
Metal
on bow, sword, brooch, quiver – Citadel Dwarf Bronze
The
above washed with Army Painter Soft Tone ink
Pants
– 983 Flat Earth
Quiver
– 876 Brown Sand
Hair
– 818 Red Leather
Leggings
– 940 Saddle Brown
Washed
with Citadel Devlan Mud
Shirt
arms – 890 Reflective Green
This model is one of the ones in the Bones Kickstarter that I am still waiting on. Looks like you did a nice job there.
ReplyDeleteThis one is metal, and it seems Reaper is releasing it in the plasic Bones series also.
DeleteHopefully as nice as this.
Good luck with the Bones figures.
Ooh, you've done her as a redhead. Nice.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like that. I'm trying out some different red-browns to find those I like the most.
DeleteA very nice sculpt, and a nice paint job. Like the hair very much ^-^
ReplyDeleteThen you're a red leather man... hmmm... and don't forget the devlan mud....
Deletekinky :-)
