28mm Western Outlaws from Black Scorpion

Five Outlaws from the Black Scorpion’s Tombstone range. Resin figures, around 32mm scale.
I bought the rule-set Dead Man’s Hand from Great Escape Games the other day, and it looks as if we will soon have enough figures for a shoot-out. I’m really looking forward to trying the rules out.
I also looked at the movie Open Range yesterday, to get in the mood. Good film, excellent shoot-out.
Paints used: (Vallejo unless noted)
Trousers – 964 Field Blue, washed with Citadel Azurmen Blue and drybrushed with Citadel Ice Blue and very lightly with 820 Off White.
The rest of the figure was painted with the colours mentioned below, and then washed with Army Painter Strong Tone wash.
Skin – 955 Flat Flesh, washed and layered with 955.
Lower Lips – Citadel Dwarf Flesh
Moustache and hair – Coat d’arms 235 Horse Tone Brown
Hats – 975 Beige Brown
Bands – 984 Flat Brown or 940 Saddle Brown
Coats – 976 Buff, washed and a layer of 976.
Shirts – 821 German Camo Beige, 879 Green Brown, 886 Green Grey or 870 Medium Sea Grey
Boots and belts – P3 Bootstrap Leather
Masks and sack – Coat d’arms 240 Unbleached Wool
Scarf – Citadel Scab Red
Guns – 865 Oily Steel washed with P3 Armor Wash
Gun-stocks – 984 Flat Brown and 981 Orange brown as graining (first time I tried this, and it worked reasonably well. I have to get more practice to get it to look right)

Don’t forget The Miniatures Man 50K Giveaway ending tomorrow!

    1. Thanks Phil. First time I get miniature-jeans to look even remotely like the real stuff - so I'm rather satisfied myself.

    1. Remembering what paints I used was actually the reason to start this blog. Glad you like that.
