Rise of Moloch – heroes

SMOG – The Rise of Moloch is another un-played miniatures boardgame in the collection, and I want to play with painted minis.
Drago, Walther Cavendish, Emma Swanson and Nanny Tin
I really like the minis for this game, as they are so full of character. A pleasure to paint, even if they take some time to finish.
With these done I have everything painted for the first scenario.

Rise of Moloch – Bobbies, flaming zombies and a damsel in distress

Been rather active with my Rise of Moloch miniatures.
These were rather easy to finish, and as they are horde-monsters and horde-allies I didn’t spend that much time on them. Not very happy about the flames, but they will do.
The damsel in distress is just that, and will need to be rescued in the first scenario.
Now I only need to finish the remaining heroes to have everything painted for the first scenario. They are prepped and ready for paint. I'm really looking forward to start playing.

Thumb and Nail from Rise of Moloch

Everything is not 3D-printing now, even though that does take quite a bit of time.
Here’s the latest mini, Thumb and Nail from Smog: Rise of Moloch boardgame.

Another amazing, and unsettling, mini from that game.
I tried to paint them with inspiration from the card-art.

Brimstone –Harvesters

Here’s a new set of enemies for Shadows of Brimstone – Harvesters.
They are creatures that have built heavy suits to protect them from hostile environments and hostile locals in those environments, making them immune to environment effect and some attacks also.
They have a mission, and that is to harvest Dark Stone, the crystals that power the ‘magical’ properties of the setting and also corrupts both people and creatures, causing mutations. They are rather good at it, and might nick your Dark Stone in a fight.
Anyway, they will be fun to see on the gaming table.

Rise of Moloch – Emerson and Tobias

Emerson and Tobias
Another couple of agents (=baddies) for The World of SMOG: Rise of Moloch.
These guys work as a team and if one dies, the other gets a bonus action.

Rise of Moloch – Killer Clowns

These are really disturbing. What is it with clowns that make them so creepy? I mean, clowns are creepy as they are, but these… Yuck!
They are part of the evil faction in Rise of Moloch, obviously, and really well done. How can you not like killer midget clowns?
There are like five each of the normal ones and 10 of the stretch-goal cyclers. I will of course need them for the game, but also for my little Pulp carnival. I need lots there J
These first ones were fun to paint, as it isn’t every day I use all these gaudy colours. The rest will hit the painting table rather soon.
I guess this is what they usually do...
Great fun, these!

Rise of Moloch – Hammersmiths

Hammersmiths - an Agent from the Rise of Moloch game.
A fantastic mini full of character and rather creepy, as all Agents in that game.
She (they?) will probably see first use in my Pulp Alley amusement park.

Famous last words: "Howdy, ma'am! My, you're big!"

A varied bunch of pulp figures and another SMOG-mini + Gothcon

Wild West Wizard of Oz Tin Man from Reaper, another civilian from Blue Moon and their Slice of Americana box and finally a Neobedouin Shaman from RAFM
I guess these will be the final minis this month.
Shamock the Great from SMOG: Rise of Moloch
You’ll find me at Gothcon this weekend, demoing Chain of Command. Please come by and say hello if you're here.
(This post should have gone live on Thursday, but I hit the wrong button. Just found out and posted it a bit out of ordinary sync)

Rise of Moloch – Titus

I got my big box of The World of SMOG: Rise of Moloch stuff from their Kickstarter a couple of weeks ago, and... those figures are just fantastic looking.
So, a bunch of them moved to the painting table to be washes, trimmed and prepped. The first batch will be some of the circus/carnival oriented ones, as I intend to use them in Pulp Alley, as baddies in the Sideshow of Horrors scenario from the Tomb of Serpents solo-campaign I have just started (AAR from the first game is coming shortly).
The very first finished mini is Titus, a very strong and very tough evildoer in the game. He will be equally tough and evil in Sideshow of Horrors.
