Tom Bombadil and Goldberry from Mithril

These two figures come from the vignette In the House of Tom Bombadil from Mithril, and portray Tom and Goldberry.
I’ll use them as non-combatants in whatever games I fancy, definitely fantasy for both, but Goldberry could probably be used in other settings.

They are on the small side compared to a 28mm fighter, probably more like 25mm 'scale'.
Another couple of ‘civilians’ ready to face the deadly gaming-world.

Sylph from Reaper

Another Reaper Bones mini, this time it’s a Sylph, sculpted by Julie Guthrie. It’s a bit different than the metal version.
This is another of the minis my daughter chose for me to paint, and it was rather difficult to finish, as especially the wings were hard to do justice. As it is I painted them white followed by a yellow wash. That turned out far too yellow so I had to drybrush them white to tone everything down a bit. Still to yellow, I think, but I do like the blue dress she wears.
Anyway, here she is.

Zombicide: Black Plague – Apprentice Milo and Ostokar the Pale

Two more minis for Zombicide: Black Plague, this time Milo and Ostokar.
Ostokar the Pale
Ostokar is a special figure as he can be used either as a hero or as a Necromancer. I think we’ll use him as a necromancer next game, to see how multiple necromancers work in-game.
The fearsome Apprentice Milo.
Milo and Ostakar are two of four minis in the Special Guest Box - Naïade expansion.

Zombicide: Black Plague – Lady Faye

Lady Faye
Another mini finished for Zombicide, this time Lady Faye. Painted her as close to the illustration as I could, which is both fun and very useful in-game when you want to find and be able to identify your heroes at a glance.

Another really nice hero, as they all are.

Mercs: Recon – CPP-209

This walker is one of the add-ons I bought from the Mercs: Recon kickstarter all those years ago. It shared the fate of so many minis and went to the tin- and polymer-mountain.
Gaming-pal Thomas sealed its fate when he started babbling about some unpainted post-apocalypse minis he had. So, instead of a shiny-corporate-death-machine-look I gave this a more run-down appearance to fit that kind of setting.
So, this is especially for you, Thomas, as an encouragement to unbox your Ghosts of Gaia figures and give them the paintjob they deserve!
CPP-209 is up for a fight.

Blue Moon Manufacturing – Slice of Americana, part 1

I won Blue Moon Manufacturing's boxed set Slice of Americana a couple of years ago and seems like a good time to dust it off, clean up the models, prime them and give them at least a basic paintjob.
The box contains 20 minis very suitable for 1930’s environments, and I’m sure they will come in handy in our club games of Pulp Alley.
I’ll paint them in four batches, as I’ve found out that five to seven models a time is a rather optimal number for me, as the risk is very high that I’ll just be bored to tears trying to do more in one go. Having five of these each time gives me the freedom to toss in an odd model or two in between.
So, here’s the first round of figures, males this time, and all looking respectable. Very basic but useful anyway, as you can never have too many civilians in a pulp-game (well, you could, but… you know).

Mercs: Recon – Even More Civilians

Historian, Janitor, two VIPs, Analyst and Scientist
Another couple of Mercs civilians and the final batch for now.
A surprised Historian and a Janitor that just doesn't care one way or another
I still have some ten left, but they have to wait. Next for Mercs are two handful of security types that are slowly assembled and waiting to join the painting queue.

You have a cheap copy of my unique designer dress! Two VIPs that had very strange faces needing plastic (or rather resin) surgery with a sharp scalpel. They still look rather wonky.

Copies of civilians I painted in the first round, an Analyst and a Scientist.
