These
two figures come from the vignette In
the House of Tom Bombadil from Mithril,
and portray Tom and Goldberry.
I’ll
use them as non-combatants in whatever games I fancy, definitely fantasy for
both, but Goldberry could probably be used in other settings.
They are on the small side compared to a 28mm fighter, probably more like 25mm 'scale'. |
Another
couple of ‘civilians’ ready to face the deadly gaming-world.
Yeah, true 28's I think. Shouldn't his boots be yellow?
ReplyDeleteIf I'd painted him as Tom it would, but these will be generic people used as non-combatants.
DeleteI do love the old Mithril Miniatures, had these once no idea where they went.
ReplyDeleteI really like them, too. They are really well sculpted and a joy to paint. I've got a couple more waiting in the tin-mountain.
DeleteLovly miniatures~!
ReplyDeleteThey sure are!
DeleteAnd what lovely characters they are, a little ray of sunshine in a dark part of the story, always loved them and always bemused by them. Nicely painted Joakim :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteGreat miniatures and lovely painting.
ReplyDeleteHey! Come merry doll! derry doll! and merry-o,
Goldberry, Goldberry, merry yellow berry-o!
I really like the Mithril figs and still got some squirelled away in the tin-mountain.
