A
short update on the Conan game, this time the man himself: Conan!
Behind him you can see some boxes that were part of the kickstarter. They are
very basic but useful in the game as it is so easy to miss the cardboard ones
on the cardboard gaming table when you play.
I
will hopefully see him in action in a game next week.
I’ve
been working on my hobby corner, the harbour, the 3D-printer and some WWII-stuff,
and that’s why there have been far too few updates the last week or so. That
will be rectified.
Me
and the daughter visited Tumbacon/Incognicon during the weekend and played
quite a few games. The best one was Star Realms. I bought that one and we had several games yesterday. Very fun
game!
Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteNot if you're a pict :-)
DeleteThat is one excellent 'black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand' Conan!
ReplyDeleteYea, I really like his face. It's a great little mini.
Deletea LEGEND :) Great miniature.
ReplyDeleteTrue!
DeleteHe puts Arnie to shame :-)
ReplyDeleteHeresy!
DeleteNothing puts Arnold to shame :-D
Lovely job. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! He is essentially blockpainted and then a wash. I did paint the eyes and lips and with that you can get away with a basic paintjob :-)
DeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rodger!
DeleteNice Joakim! I've seen some older posts of yours about it and it looks great, but I'm not familiar with the mechanics at all - is this sort of a cross between a board game and a miniatures game?
ReplyDeleteSort of, yes. You play on a board and move by zones. It's IGUG but with a twist. Really nice game mechanics, great minis and a thoroughly enjoyable game. I really recommend it.
