A
couple of huge monsters for the Shadows of Brimstone boardgame.
The
Guardian is some sort of metal construct, walking around on the Targa Plateau,
an Otherworld that the heroes can reach through portals in the mines of
Brimstone.
It
was easy enough to finish, essentially just metallic paints, washes and some
drybrushing. Coloured vision-slits and power pack to get some life into it.
The Jargono Swamp Raptor comes from another Otherworld, surprisingly the Swamps of Jargono.
It
needed quite a lot of greenstuffing to be presentable, but the end result looks
good enough.
I think it might end up in my soon to start Paleo Diet solo-campaign.
Poor cave-women… they will probably need to fight something much easier to
start with.
Very nice Joakim :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Frank!
DeleteGreat stuff Joakim! That Guardian is just huge! Are the miniatures soft plastic?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ivor!
DeleteThey are polystyrene, just like ordinary plastic kits (think Airfix) and come on sprues (!). A bit, lets say unusual for a boardgame. No real problem as I'm a modeller and used to assembling much fiddlier kits, but a bit of a steep climb if you're not. A bit annoying, I guess, for those not used with this as the boxes don't say anything about it.
