I
found Kat, Human Rogue, one of five
heroes from the Castle Ravenloft
boardgame, in the plastics-mountain the other day.
In dark blue plastic she
didn’t look much, but when I started to actually check her out it turned
out that she’s a rather dynamic character.
Some
paint and she turned out real well.
After that I collected the rest of the unpainted minis from that game, and they turned out
to be just a handful. Might as well get them all painted so I have
that game finished.
The
first to be done were the blazing
skeletons. They really looked like transparent blue blobs as they were, but
with some paint they look much better.
Unpainted blazing skeleton (without integral base) |
Now
I only have four more heroes, a vampire and a howling hag, and the game is all
painted.
WoooW! blazing skeleton looking perfect!
ReplyDeleteThank you, they turned out far above expectations
DeleteThose Ravenloft figures look great! Especially the skeletons, but Kat is a nice figure too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laffe!

Lovely figures and the effect is stunning. Its like you say : Det du gömmer i snö kommer fram i tö(if you use the paintbrush). ;)

DeleteGreat effect with skeletons, they look really nice. Always good to discover a gem you never knew you had :-)
ReplyDeleteYeah, they were a real surprise. I had never really looked at them and considered them a lost cause.
DeleteThese look great they do look far better with the bones painted in!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. They went from lumps of transparent plastic to decent minis after a minimum of fuss.
DeleteWow! Those skeletons look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWell, they certainly look better painted than original
