A handful of hobbits

Here’s a handful of hobbits from different manufacturers.
There is a slight difference in size J
Male Halfling Thief from Otherworld
Woody, Halfling Ranger from Reaper, sculpted by Werner Klocke, and a giant among halflings...
Two hobbits from Mithril. These come from the MV375 In the House of Tom Bombadil and MV373 Gildor Inglorion vignettes and I got them at a sale a couple of years ago. About time I got them painted.
Welcome follower Jean-Pierre Lelain with blog Les batailles anciennes et fantastiques de JPP - a really nice blog about obviously ancients and fantasy. It's in French but that is no problem with autotranslate. Check it out.

  3. Brilliant Joakim! Please don't tell me you too are planning a LOTR game :) I have another blog I'm following doing one and if you start one too, there is no way that I'll not be able to crack open all my unpainted boxes when seeing all this amazing work - I have way too much other stuff to focus on :)

    1. I will spare you the anguish!
Nope, no LOTR game, just the ordinary gaming, Frostgrave, Open Combat and D&D.
They might feed the hungry bear, though, who knows :-)

    2. I was just going to ask, is your bear getting hungry again? ;-)

      Nice work, as always!

They were some of the last figures to be finished in 2016, just a few more to post about.

    1. Thanks, ROdger. I'm pretty pleased with them, and really like the sculpts for the smaller ones

  7. Very nicely Done. Shame i like a lot of the Reaper stuff but the size of a lot of figures is all over the place.

Yep, I like the Reaper minis, too, but sizes are a bit of a mess, as you say.
