Another
MDF-thingie finished, this time a stagecoach from Sarissa. Easy to assemble but this
one needs some paint to be presentable. Said and quickly done.
That
game of Dead Man’s
Hand is getting closer.
I guess someone will
appreciate the cover…
Good job!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Laffe!
DeleteIt's surprising what a little paint can do (well, actually a lot of paint as it just soaked into the MDF and cardboard)
I've heard - but not tried yet - that you can spray with hairspray to seal the surface.
DeleteYou could probably spray with any kind of spray to at least partly seal the surface.
DeleteWell, worth a try i guess, but we don't have any hairspray...
Lovely looking piece! Looking forward to seeing your Wild West set-up in all its glory!
ReplyDeleteMe too! There is quite a lot to paint still. More Sarissa pieces and a couple of Perry houses. All assembled but not finished.
DeleteAnd roads. I need roads.
Nicely done. I did wonder how absorbent or otherwise the MDF is.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteA fair bit, but the stagecoach have many card-pieces and they just soak it up
Very nice indeed!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rodger!
DeleteBest kind of model - relatively cheap, easy to assemble and paint and gives a presence on the gaming board
Great work!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Michał!
DeleteWhat a beautiful (and colorful!) model...very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Phil
DeleteI was inspired by the one I saw at the High Desert Museum
